As part of the 13th anniversary of the RAMSAR Regional Center for Training and Research on Wetlands for the Western Hemisphere (CREHO), the City of Knowledge Foundation held the Forum: Use of technology in water resources, for the management of wetlands, on Tuesday, July 25 at the City of Knowledge Training and Business Center.
Ramsar Regional Centre for Training and Research (CREHO), the City of Knowledge Foundation and the Ministry of Environment, with support from the Panama Wetland Committee, celebrated the 2016 World Wetlands Day with the international forum: "Wetlands for our future, sustainable livelihoods," on Tuesday, February 2, at the City of Knowledge Training and Business Center.
In recent days the City of Knowledge Training and Business Center held the International Forum on Wetlands: Relevance of planning and environmental impact assessment on the conservation and wise use of wetlands.
On Friday, August 30th, the Month of the Oceans 2013 "Healthy Oceans for Humanity" launch was held at the Large Meeting Room of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute.
On Thursday, February 2, the special event "Tourism in Wetlands: A Great Experience" was held at the Convention Center inside the City of Knowledge, commemorating World Wetlands Day.
